Hokus Pick Reunites for an Epic Show at Bez Arts Hub!
Hokus Pick is the beloved Canadian Christian rock band that rocked the 90s with their unique mix of music and humor. Their reunion show at Bez Arts Hub marks their first ticketed performance in 25 years, promising fans an evening of unforgettable entertainment.
“Shadowlands,” combines the warmth and beauty of S. Carey’s (Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens) aesthetic with the improvisational, spontaneous nature of 4 time Grammy nominee John Raymond’s, blurring the lines between indie folk, forward-thinking jazz, lush pop, and atmospheric electronic music. Through a life of many relocations and countless months on the road performing, Fearing has become a gifted storyteller and true musical nomad with the ability to enthrall audiences of all sizes and attitudes. “Getting on stage is the fun part, especially when the adrenaline kicks in,” he says, with a broad smile. “People want to escape and be taken on a journey. I build my shows so they do just that.”
A new community choir in Langley, BC in the Black Gospel style, that features local voices and stellar vocal arrangements by director Lincoln Tatem. Old school tunes, and contemporary songs delivered with power and passion featuring accompanist Diane Lines and a high energy backing band.
