A man with a thousand friends, from Newfoundland to Vancouver Island to Texas to New Zealand, he’s a singer, guitarist and songwriter who catches the small but telling moments that make up life.

Wild Blue Herons with Horns!

An epic evening of music awaits….

Wild Blue Herons with Horns features musical talents Bill Sample and Darlene Cooper. Bill, a BC Entertainment Hall of Fame member, is an accomplished musical director and keyboardist, having collaborated with icons like David Foster and Celine Dion, and mentored Diana Krall. Darlene enriches the duo with her voice and performs jazz, soul, and gospel; she is also an educator and composer, having worked with artists like Eric Bibb. The ensemble includes musicians from legendary acts such as Van Morrison and k.d. lang, celebrating their combined achievements.

Barney Bentall, Tom Taylor and Shari Ulrich’s collaboration since 2007 grew from the undeniable enjoyment for both the artists and their audiences. Their blend of acoustic guitars, mandolin, fiddle and swoon-worthy three-part harmonies in support of their exceptional songwriting and their obvious love of performing together is enduring and inspiring.
