Ivan Boudreau - SongStage host

Ivan has been professional musician/songwriter and wandering minstrel for over 45 years, with deep roots in Nova Scotia and his youthful years in Boston and Toronto. He now calls British Columbia home and continues with his driving passion for stories and songs that are honest and heartfelt

Suzie Ungerleider

Suzie Ungerleider officially opens a new chapter of her already distinguished and highly successful career with the release of her new album entitled My Name is Suzie Ungerleider. Bursting with her trademark evocative melodies and trenchant lyrics, it's the tenth solo studio album by the American-born, Canadian-raised artist revered for such landmark records as Johnstown, Sleepy Little Sailor and A Girl In Teen City. It's also her first since the artist formerly known as Oh Susanna announced that she would now record and perform under her birth name.

Matt Kennedy

Though he only started writing songs in 2018, Matt Kennedy has been singing and playing guitar, mandolin and bass for decades on stages in western Canada. He grew up in a house filled with Handel, Holiday, and Hendrix, and can’t remember not having a song in his head. After many years of thinking songs fell from the sky, he began studying under veteran songwriter Deborah Holland, leader of the Singer-Songwriter Certificate Program at Vancouver’s Langara College. Matt is songwriter, singer and guitarist in the acoustic five-piece Vancouver-based band Farmteam, who will release a new 11-song record early in 2022 titled What We Call Forever. Having seasoned musicians as bandmates to test out song ideas is a critical part of his process.  Guy Clark reportedly told Steve Earle that “a song isn’t a song until you’ve played it for someone.”

Gary Comeau

Gary Comeau is a singer-songwriter and musician of unusual diversity and talent.

Playing a range of instruments including guitar, mandolin, fiddle, accordion and piano, he delivers originally crafted, high energy, New Orleans-style rockin' roots and blues.

Although Gary’s own roots are French-Acadian, ...he was born and raised in Nova Scotia..., his soul seems to have taken a long and inspiring detour through Louisiana and the Mississippi Delta.

And while Gary does not consider himself to be a Cajun or Zydeco artist per se, those styles have certainly influenced the music he's written & recorded.
